Library Journal’s New Landmark Libraries initiative identifies the top new libraries for ideas and inspiration. They are accepting submissions online until March 31, 2015 from public libraries that have completed new construction, expansion or significant renovation within the past four years (2010–2014).
They are seeking submissions from all types of public libraries (rural, suburban, urban, etc.) on the following criteria: 1) design and construction, (2) response to community context and constraints, (3) sustainability, (4) functionality, (5) innovation, and (6) beauty and delight.
