Schlow Library Podcast. | STAGING Compendium

Schlow Centre Region Library has launched the Schlow Library Podcast. The first episode is now available through iTunes, Google Play Music, or at schlowlibrary.buzzsprout.com.

The weekly podcast will feature interviews and news about events, happenings, and services at Schlow Centre Region Library. The first episode previews LIONBash and includes an interview with Douglas Shontz and Autumn Busbee of the Borough of State College.

Schlow will have an Engagement Station and is participating in this year’s LIONBash, which will be 5pm-8pm on Wednesday, August 29 on the 100 to 300 blocks of South Allen Street.

“Schlow has so many events that are happening at the library and services that are available, and the library is involved in a number of ways in the community,” says communications manager David Pencek. “With our website, our app, our calendar of events, a bimonthly eNewsletter, and social media, the podcast just adds another way for us to share with the public all that is happening at Schlow. We hope people find it entertaining and informative.”

Upcoming podcast episodes include a look at the Schlow to School Program, the Great American Read, and Research Unplugged.
