Bethlehem Area Public Library Continues to Honor Local Poet; How Does Your Library Recognize Local Authors and Artists? | STAGING Compendium

Bethlehem Area Public Library had early 20th century poet Hilda “H.D.” Doolittle’s childhood home recognized as a Literary Landmark, near where the Bethlehem Area Public Library now stands. The library is now using GoFundMe to raise money to commission a portrait of the poet!

Has your library honored a past or current local author or artist? Does your library hold a book festival, work with local authors or display local artists? Are local writers/artists (famous or not) listed on your library website?
