Bureau of Library Development – Staff Update | STAGING Compendium

Good afternoon, colleagues.

I am pleased to share the news that beginning July 1st, Hadiyah Cleveland will be stepping into the role of Education Administration Supervisor for the Administration and Data Team in the Bureau of Library Development (BLD).

Hadiyah (she/her) started with the Bureau of Library Development in the Office of Commonwealth Libraries (OCL) in October, 2014. As the liaison to the Institute for Museum and Library Services (IMLS) and Library Services Technology Act Program (LSTA) coordinator for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Hadiyah has been working to articulate and share a vision for Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging as an intrinsic part of our work and impact on the people of and in Pennsylvania.  Her overall duties consisted of providing professional, educational, and administrative lead work within the Administration and Data Team in planning, contracting, reviewing, monitoring, and analyzing multi-faceted library grant programs.

Hadiyah, a creative force for good and tireless change agent, brings with her the ability to translate government regulation and guidance, contracting experience, creative problem solving, process improvement through LEAN and a work smarter not harder attitude. She has a high level of enthusiasm and “embraces the library community with open arms.”

Please join me in extending congratulations to Hadiyah!

Heather
