Finding Health and Wellness @ the Library:
A CONSUMER HEALTH TOOLKIT FOR LIBRARY STAFF Second Edition (Version 2)
Urban Libraries Council is offering access to a newly-added Edge resource designed to help libraries increase health literacy in their communities, the Finding Health and Wellness @ the Library toolkit. Developed by the California State Library and the National Network of Libraries of Medicine, Pacific Southwest Region, this toolkit provides comprehensive guidance for how libraries can build their capacity to meet their communities’ health literacy needs.
In addition to this toolkit, they are offering special access to the recorded archive of September’s Edge Implementation Webinar, Libraries and Healthy Communities: Edge Helps Public Libraries Promote Health Literacy Through Technology, which provides an in-depth look at how your library can implement the toolkit to meet your communities’ unique needs.
