The Benson Memorial Library is excited to announce their newest online database: the Obituary Index! You can now search our obituary index online from anywhere in the world. It contains more than 18,000 listings. The Obituary Index can be accessed through the Benson Memorial Library website at https://benson.ccfls.org/obituary-listings.
- Listings are alphabetical by surname and each letter of the alphabet is on a different sheet (see the tabs at the bottom).
- To search, just press CTRL+F and type in your desired name.
- This is the culmination of a four-year project and each entry has been manually entered by hand.
- Some entries are not yet fully complete as we are going through the newspaper editions one-by-one.
- Listings are continuously updated and new obituaries are added each day. This is a living document.

- This project was envisioned by Jessica Hilburn and Justin Hoenke and started on Tuesday December 29 2015. All data entry work done by Jessica Hilburn, Lisa Kellogg, & Kait Griffin at the Benson Memorial Library in Titusville, PA.
