Book Management Refresher Course

Ever feel like you just need a little refresher on that cataloging you’re trying to complete? Or like that repair class was a few too many years away? Join Oil Creek District and Dr. James Maccaferri as we present a one day refresher course covering Cataloging and basic book repair. Cataloging topics will include decoding MARC21, essential elements of a record, where to get that information from, and practice time. Repair topics will include: prevention, proper care/storage, basic repairs on a budget, and essential supplies. You can register for one or both sessions.

Join Becky Spratford of RA for All, New Castle Library District, and Oil Creek Library District for an interactive workshop all about Reader’s Advisory. The workshop will cover involving every staff member, the basics of providing readers’ advisory service, and a genre overview/skills strengthening session.  *If space is limited priority will be given to District members.
