Pennsylvania PBS has been working in collaboration with the Pennsylvania Department of Education to support learning during this time when many are outside the classroom.
Explore and share Pennsylvania PBS Resources designed to support students who are Learning at Home:
- Download weekly activities for children and teens—many can be printed and reproduced for your take and make library programs.
- View or print the December calendar
- Promote the Family Night: Coding on December 10 to your patrons. Write a post for your social media!
- Educator Resources include: Support Our Schools, 10 days of grade level standard programs with printable activity packets.
Beyond educational television programming and internet based resources, Pennsylvania PBS is also working with the Pennsylvania Department of Education and select Intermediate Units to pilot a datacasting program to serve people without traditional internet connections. Stay tuned for more information about this partnership and ways libraries may be involved.
