State Library of Pennsylvania Author Event: Gerri Almand | STAGING Compendium

Author Gerri Almand
How a Reluctant RV Wife became an Accidental Author
Date: February 23, 2022    12 Noon to 1 PM

Have you ever longed for the freedom of the open road? Join us in welcoming travel author Gerri Almand at this author talk.

Retired from a 40-year career in social work, Gerri Almand found her voice in humorous travel writing when her husband insisted that they buy an RV and travel the country. The Reluctant RV Wife, Home Is Where the RV Is, and Running from COVID in Our RV Cocoon chronicle Gerri’s transformation from initial RV reluctance to an ecstatic embrace of full-time nomadism.  Visit her website to find out more about Gerri and her books!

Register in advance to attend this free virtual program by sending an email to ra-edmakerspace@pa.gov with your name and the title of the event you want to attend. You will receive an email reply with a link to attend the meeting on the Teams platform.
